The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. with registration and social hour. If you want alcoholic beverages you must bring your own as they do not have a permit for liquor sales. Dinner will begin at 7:00 p.m. ($25.00 per person) and music will begin at 9:30 p.m. and run until 11:45 p.m. Please be informed because of the cost of dinners and available seating we regret that we will be unable to accept walk-ins for the dinner. <o:p></o:p> Reservations for the banquet/dance must be returned to Judy Stanley, 11425 Peach Ridge Road, Athens, Ohio 45701-9768 no later than May 24, 2013. We cannot accept reservations after this date! Your payment must accompany your reservation in order to confirm your attendance. Please make checks payable to the Chauncey-Dover Alumni Association. If you enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope with your reservation, your tickets will be returned to you, and you will be able to avoid the ticket pick-up line on the night of the banquet. <o:p></o:p> If you would like to make reservations to stay overnight we have rooms blocked at the Baymont Inn, 12819 State Route 664, Logan, Ohio 43138. You must contact them directly at 740-385-1700. Please remember to tell them that you are with the Chauncey-Dover Alumni Association to receive the discount price. Cost of the room is $120.00 plus tax. Please make your room reservation no later than May 12. After that the rooms will be released to the public. <o:p></o:p> Thanks to all of you and your generous donations our Chauncey-Dover Alumni Association Scholarship Endowment has a current balance of $45,157.71. With the closing of Chauncey Elementary the Chauncey Elementary P.T.O. donated $2,500 to the Chauncey-Dover Alumni Association Scholarship Endowment and sent a big THANK YOU and APPRECIATION for all of the support the Alumni has given to the staff and students at Chauncey Elementary. <o:p></o:p> Thank you for your $167.00 donation to the Athens High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee. Please pick up a nomination form at the banquet or get in touch with our representatives to the Hall of Fame Committee, Tom Kranyik, JerryYates, or Judy Stanley to insure that our athletes are honored. Please remember that a C-D athlete must have a completed nomination form on file, as no one will be inducted without the nomination form being completed. <o:p></o:p> We are still continuing to collect yearbooks and/or class (group) pictures to ensure our history at Chauncey-Dover for the Athens County Historical Society and our website; chauncey-dover.com. If you have items for our archives please contact Archie Stanley. <o:p></o:p> Nominations for the Honor Graduate Award are greatly appreciated. However, nominations are getting less and less each year.
